SharitySpace™ emerged in Santa Monica in 2021 with a clear mission: to revolutionize the concept of everyday-giving by streamlining and enhancing the process for everyone involved. The foundation of the idea had been brewing within the team for years , inspired by the desire to extend the benefits of "Instant Gratification" and immediate support to underserved communities. However, it was the firsthand experience of volunteering with local food banks in Los Angeles during the pandemic, as well as technology progress - in particular through AI - that ignited the spark for change.
As the team witnessed the profound struggles faced by individuals and families in their community, they realized the urgent need to upend the approach to communal giving back.
The impact of the pandemic had only exacerbated longstanding issues of financial hardship, especially resulting in concerningly limited access to essential resources, while traditional methods of charitable giving saw concerning decline, mostly due to soaring doubt over transparency and efficacy.
Driven by stakeholder research and feedback from both recipients and donors, SharitySpace™ embarked on a journey to redefine the landscape of philanthropy. By placing the needs of beneficiaries at the forefront and leveraging cutting-edge technologies led by AI, the team is currently developing a solution that not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters long-term empowerment and a sustained path to recovery.
SharitySpace™ will be the first solution in the market, which will not only give donors full transparency, but also allowing them to track the progress of every beneficiary they are supporting.
